It's all about dealing with the dry for me right now in So Jersey, Zone 7. I have to water every two or three days. What's more, I am waiting on an overcast day to get my brassicas in, and transplant the zinnias, cosmos and sunflowers. I am seeing stink bugs and disease on my tomatoes and plants are starting to die, but I have been collecting and making sauce for a while now. On the flip side, I am harvesting pickling cucumbers, bush beans {about done, will replant} tomatoes and peppers. And the raspberries just started. I am in preservation mode right now. Dehydrating herbs, freezing beans and berries, baking zucchini bread and roasting eggplant.
